I have been resting in the awareness that I am the observer in my life. I am the awareness. My being is much deeper than the surface happenings in life. I rest in the calmness of the I Am.

As awesome as being aware of being in myself and experincing the energy of life vibrate within my body, it is so much greater to experince awareness of life and connectedness with other living things. I was recently experincing this while looking at a young tree and then a dragon fly. Life and being connected to the world and universe in awareness is a thing  of beauty..

Living in the now !!!!

resting in being

I enjoy being able to rest in the stillness of being.....it is so awesome to simply stop and be the observer instead  of the rat in the maze. Busyness and ego try to distract but I am so thankful for awarenss. It is good to be awake! herbst_blumen

Resting in the stillness

I remember a particular statement made by Eckhart Tolle that has made such a difference in my life. It is about how we are like a lake where although on the surface it may be rough, However in the depths there is a stillness and calmness. It reminds me that no matter what I seem to be bombarded with on the surface I can just rest in the depths of stillness and calmness that is who I am.............I so needed that today!

Stillness

I have spent the last few days during tropical Storm Fay to catch up on some reading and reminding myself to connect with Life and my true self. It is so easy to get caught up in the rat race that some call life and lose yourself and the sense of unity and peace. But I am awake again....living in the now!
